How long is the wait for a tattoo and how long will my tattoo take to do?
This is an easy one! It will depend which artist you are hoping to get booked in with. Once you have selected an artist or had one appointed to you, we will then need to find a space in the diary suitable for the tattoo. We will ask for more information such as; the size of the tattoo, the placement and the detail going into it. Then we can give an idea on the artist’s waiting list and how long the tattoo will take to finish, some larger or more detailed tattoos can need repeat sessions to complete.
Do tattoos hurt?
Yes! Of-course they do, however every individual’s pain tolerance is different, and I see many, many people receive their tattoos without a care in the world! Most of the time it seems to be nothing but an irritation so nothing to worry about. All of the artists and staff in the studio are very chilled and provide a lovely relaxing environment for each client.
I want to book my tattoo?
Each artist has their own booking system in place:
For bookings with Will or would rather discuss with Rob about who the best artist is for the tattoo you are looking for then you can Email;

If you would like to book with Sarah then you can Email her directly on:
Rob mans the Social Media accounts and Emails; however, he is also available in the studio for any advice that you may need, feel free to drop in. We are open Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm.
What about how long tattoos take to heal?
This is another one that depends I’m sorry to say, usually we say about 2 weeks as a rule however some tattoos may heal sooner, others may be closer to 3 or 4 weeks. You may also in rare cases experience small amounts of scabbing after this period but don’t panic, it will heal.
How do I care for my new tattoo?
Easy! It’s an open wound while its fresh so keep it clean! You can wash and everything as normal, even submerge it in the bath if you like just don’t soak for too long and don’t scrub at it. Always wash in something for sensitive skin so PH friendly is ADVISED! Washing with something heavily perfumed is ok, but it may sting a bit and will dry the tattoo out afterwards so be warned this ISN’T ADVISED.
Avoid the tattoo drying out or scabbing we suggest using something natural and good for the skin like cocoa butter, coconut oil, almond oil, shea butter etc. Apply these 2-3 times a day or whenever the skin feels dry, tight or sore.
Also please AVOID anything petroleum based such as Vaseline or Bepanthen and don’t pick or scratch the tattoos. If it does scab up, simply keep them scabs lovely and soft with extra helpings of your chosen ointment.
Can my underage Son/Daughter be tattooed with my consent?
Absolutely not, under any circumstances – this is against the law here in the UK!
Can I bring my dog to the studio? (Now I think this is a pretty crazy thing to ask but people do ask!)
The answer is no, no animals allowed in the tattooing areas and no fury family members allowed in the shop at all, this means no dogs, no cats and no excessively hairy men or women please tie them all up outside somewhere before coming in or find someone to dog/cat/hairy person sit while you are paying us a visit.
How do I pay?
We take both card payments in the shop or cash.
Do you offer any discounts?
Our App that can be downloaded via the App store or Google play, this has a great loyalty card on there for you to receive stamps on each hour you book (excluding full day sessions). We can also notify you of any special offers via this app so you don’t miss out.
Will you tattoo intimate areas?
This is down to each individual artist’s discretion but we will usually be happy to tattoo anywhere on your body providing you are clean. However, it may also be considered whether or not you have what we deem ‘enough tattoos’ to dedicate such a precious piece of skin to a permanent piece of work.
For example, we will not tattoo head, hands, face, genitals etc unless you already have a good number of large tattoos on your body.
Best thing to do is ask one of the artists, they’re all relaxed and professional and whatever is said or seen will not be spoken of, our studio runs a strict regime around the modesty of the clients.
